The Westin San Antonio North
In Collaboration with Soup & Travel Fluencer
The Westin San Antonio North project exemplified the beauty of finding balance, supporting local culture, and reconnecting with community. As an artist and digital creator, my life often moves at lightning speed—from creating public art to capturing moments for inspiring projects and people. This collaboration with The Westin was a much-needed reminder of the importance of rest, self-care, and passion. Thanks to their hospitality, I had the chance to recharge with my partner, Soup, and our beloved pup, Zoe Zoe.
Photography and video storytelling played a significant role in this collaboration. Through carefully curated reels and visuals, I was able to document the essence of the Westin San Antonio North experience—from the serene moments of rest to the vibrant energy of the city. The visuals highlighted the warmth of The Westin’s hospitality, the charm of San Antonio’s culture, and the stories of the people who bring it to life. These creative assets not only showcased the collaboration but also underscored the importance of storytelling in building meaningful connections.
Beyond the personal reprieve, this project also deepened my connection to San Antonio. Growing up as a First Gen American, I often struggled to feel at home here. However, stepping out of my comfort zone and exploring the city’s vibrant arts scene has transformed my perspective. Partnering with someone as passionate about San Antonio as Soup opened my eyes to the richness of its culture and community. This experience was further enriched by stories like Stacey’s—a dedicated team member who’s called The Westin home for over 25 years. It’s a testament to the pride and passion that make this city so unique.
The Westin San Antonio North project underscored the importance of taking time for oneself, celebrating local culture, and appreciating the stories that connect us. It’s these moments of reflection and collaboration that inspire my creative work and fuel my passion for storytelling and community-building.
